WHAT’S NEW
This week we’re sharing our newest coolstuff.nyc playlist, highlighting a new NYC based wine company, and encouraging you to update your NYC rental with 5 easy steps.
CULTURE CORNER
WATCH
VOGUE released a video this week centered on the celebration of everything that makes New York New York and the strength the city has to get back on its feet. The video, narrated by Whoopie Goldberg, is sure to put you in your feels about how much of a treat it is to be able to live in the greatest city on earth. “These days, this year, I have still loved New York, I love New York—because New York loves me.”
LISTEN
We’re going on a little socially distanced road trip upstate this weekend and have given the official coolstuff.nyc playlist™ an update to coincide with some fall vibes & some upbeat road-trip tunes along the way. Best played on shuffle.
SHOP
Okay, okay, we’ve done a mask round up in the past but there has been an important update — BAGGU now makes their facemasks now come with adjustable ear loops! We went for the cactus colorway but there are lots of tones and patterns to protect yourself and those around you.
TRY
We recently found out about Maivino and honestly wish we’d known about them a while ago. If you’re like us you love the idea of most bag wine, but struggle to find any that tastes interesting or isn’t loaded with preservatives and filtered through fish bladders (yes, this really happens!). Give their Rosé a try, it’s perfect for having a glass or two and not spoiling a whole bottle.
BEST OF
It’s no secret that New Yorkers like us who haven’t left the city since March have probably spent more time awake in our apartments the last few months than all the past years combined. We’ve put together our favorite ways to update your rental for under $50, verdict is out on whether your landlord will agree with us. Check out our tips here!
