It’s been a minute since our last neighborhood guide, but we’ve been hard at work 4 u. Here it is: our oft-requested, long-awaited guide to SOHO & NOLITA. Filled with fashion labels, and fashionable cafés, these neighborhoods are also home to some of our favorite spots in the city.

Eat

Vesuvio Bakery

For: a classic, and photo-worthy, Italian bakery in the heart of Soho.

Ruby’s

For: one of our favorite burgers & the best brussels sprouts ever.

Thai Diner

For: a cozy Thai food diner with the best egg sandwich in the neighborhood.

Café Gitane

For: a no-frills French/Morrocan cafe perfect for sidewalk people watching.

Banh Mi Saigon

For: everyone’s favorite & freshest Bahn Mi sammie. Our order: the #1 (BBQ Pork!)

Fanelli Cafe

For: classic American fare with red checkered tablecloths and surprisingly amazing spaghetti & meatballs. The best place to sip a martini in Soho, espcially if you’d like to brush shoulders with editors and stylists from the strongholds of print.

Sip

Café Integral

For: delicious Nicaraguan coffees roasted by Café Integral themselves!

Spring Lounge

For: the neighborhood dive -- it’s been around since opening illegally in the 20’s, and yes, it’s that place with the stuffed sharks everywhere. Get a beer and a shot.

Still Here New York

For: creative, colorful, and customized jeans! We love their hand painted embellishments, perfect 4 autumn.

Clare V.

For: the most fun bags & women’s clothing with a French Twist by LA-based designer Clare Vivier.

Abbode

For: gifts, especially for you & your bestie! Keep an eye out for their frequent and fantastic in-store events.

SEE

Elizabeth Street Garden

For: a green garden haven in the middle of Nolita. If you want to help ensure that Elizabeth Street Garden remains a part of the neighborhood, you can donate here.
